Samsung is planning to use TrulyHandsfree voice technology in its upcoming Galaxy devices including tablets, cameras, wearables and smartphones.

TrulyHandsfree voice control solution developed by the US based speech and vision technology maker Sensory.

The voice control allows users to access and activate their devices with ultra-low power voice trigger, eliminating the need for the speaker to be close to the microphone.

Samsung is planning to use this technology for voice calls, camera and other functionality which might make voice control more convenient than touch screen.

According to Sensory, its TrulyHandsfree can also be used in noisy environment and has practically negligible amount of impact on battery life.

Samsung is already using Sensory in Galaxy S2, Gear 1, Gear 2, Gear S and in cameras and tablets that uses S-Voice.

Sensory CEO Todd Mozer said: "Samsung continues to be a standard bearer and innovator in an array of dazzling and savvy technology devices which meet the needs of mass consumers."

"We are very pleased that they have selected Sensory for all their embedded speech needs."

Separately, Sensory also added that its TrulyHandsfree voice technology is being adopted by Motorola in its Moto Voice feature.

The company first used the technology in its Touchless Control feature and in the original Moto X, Droid Ultra, Droid Mini, and Droid Maxx.

The new Moto X will now come with Sensory’s TrulyHandsfree 3.0.
