Korean mobile giant Samsung is to bring forward to next month the launch of a vital mobile product.

Reuters reported that the sources said the electronics firm would launch its Galaxy Note phablet in August instead of September

Traditionally product launches are saved for September.

The fiercely competitive handset market has recently seen deivce maker HTC seek to recover ground after it too reported sluggish performance on the back of poor sales.
