Patents filed by Samsung have surfaced which appear to show off an augmented reality headset style piece of technology which looks similar to Google Glass.

The patents reveal a transparent heads-up display, and instead of being wrapped around the ear like Google Glass, they show the device fitting in the wearer’s ear, possibly to provide audio information and feedback.
Some have dubbed the project ‘Galaxy Glass’, in line with Samsung’s other Galaxy products and its new expansion into wearable technology.
An anonymous Samsung executive told the Korea Times that Galaxy Glass could debut as soon as September at the IFA tradeshow in Berlin.
