Samsung Electronics America, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics, has introduced its Series 7 All-In-One PC.
Samsung said with a sleek, minimalist design profile, the Series 7 All-In-One PC offers a good computing experience in a sophisticated, clutter-free package.
The new PC also features a touch screen monitor and capitalises on Samsung’s television technology, offering users a TV-quality experience on their PC.
The Samsung Series 7 All-In-One PC features a 23-inch screen which measures 6mm thin; a wireless keyboard; a streamlined mouse; a metallic surface and the monitor’s base takes minimum space on the user’s desk, said the company.
Samsung said that with the full flat design, users can lay the PC all the way down, creating a full horizontal touch interface, for gaming, using art and design programs or inviting a large group to gather around the screen to view content.
The PC features an Intel Core i3 or Intel Core i5 processor and Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. the company claims the PC is ideal for both business and entertainment purposes.
The Series 7 All-In-One features include: Samsung’s TV technology; Full HD, LED-backlit display; Harman Speakers; Harman-optimised audio features; SoundAlive sound enhancer, integrated HD webcam and DVD player.
Samsung said its advanced touch screen technology provides a more accurate and responsive experience, enabling users to quickly navigate through the simple user interface, the Web and more. The Samsung Touch Launcher software allows users to make the most of the All-In-One’s touch screen by providing touch-based access to applications from the desktop, said Samsung.
Samsung offers Easy Settings which make the PC to easily connect to new wireless networks and projectors. Samsung Easy Migration allows users to transfer existing files to the new computer by connecting it to their old PC, launching and starting Easy Migration and letting the PC do the rest.
Samsung mobile PC marketing Enterprise Business Division director Scott Ledterman said Samsung’s new all-in-one PC provides all of the benefits of a full-sized desktop computer without the cumbersome tower and wires often associated with that form factor.
"It’s an ideal choice for consumers looking to upgrade their PC, as it will provide them with the latest technology while freeing up valuable desk space in their home or office setup," said Ledterman.
