UK phone sellers have announced the date that they will start accepting pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S5.
From Friday 28th March, consumers will be able to pre-order Samsung’s latest flagship from EE, Vodafone, and Three. The Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4U and Samsung themselves will also be selling the latest mobile, which was announced last month at MWC 2014 in Barcelona.
The phones will be shipped worldwide on April 11th, and will be available on both 3G and 4G contracts.
A Carphone Warehouse spokesperson said: "We’ve seen record numbers of pre-registrations for the Samsung Galaxy S5 compared to its predecessors so we know that customer demand for this new handset is exceptionally high.
"We’re expecting pre-orders to go through the roof when we open on 28 March as a huge number of Samsung fans are coming toward the end of their contracts and will be looking to upgrade to a new, yet still familiar, device."
