Samsung is likely to unveil Samsung Galaxy S2, the sequel to its Android slate smartphone Samsung Galaxy S, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) to be held in February in Barcelona.
Media reports quoted Korean site ETnews, which also carried an image of the phone, which said the new product is not likely to be replica of the Google Nexus S.
It will feature a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display, a dual-core processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread and NFC chip.
As of January 2011, the South Korean electronics maker had sold 10 million Galaxy S phones globally.
Interestingly, the company announced the Galaxy S model at the MWC last year and then put it on sale in summer. It is expected that Samsung will do the same for the Galaxy S2 as well.
