This single-award, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract has a two-year base period and three one-year options, with a total value of more than $23 million if all options are exercised. This is a follow-on contract to the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division Omnibus Contract. Work will be performed primarily in Crane, Indiana.

Tom Baybrook, senior vice president and business unit manager at SAIC, said: SAIC will continue to provide combat-proven expertise, technical knowledge and mobility to the small arms weapons training environment by generating high-quality computer-based training, interactive courseware, as well as coordinating and executing worldwide fielding and new equipment training. SAIC is proud to be given the opportunity to assist NSWC Crane in providing technology that directly enhances the scope of mission activities that support the Warfighter and the fight on global terrorism.
