Under the deal, which was originally awarded in 2004, SAIC will handle IT services for the Marshall Space Flight center in Alabama. It also includes services for all other NASA centers, including the Russian Launch Facility in Moscow. SAIC will be supporting NASA enterprise management program, WAN services, security, and digital television functions.
This second option period takes work through the end of 2008 and raises the contract ceiling value to $956m.
