Broadway & Seymour Inc, a Charlotte, North Carolina-based division of SAIC, the San Diego engineering firm and systems integrator, has set up a customer relationship management consultancy group. John Williams, corporate vice president and head of the CRM consulting group, says he expects the group to provide around 25% of Broadway & Seymour’s revenue within 18 months. Last year, Broadway & Seymour had revenue of around $80m.

The group will be differentiated in the increasingly competitive CRM marketplace, says Williams, because of its Surveyor methodology. This consists of models containing information on best practice for business processes such as funds transfer and balance enquiries, together with data that predicts how much and how long the various tasks take to execute. The 32-strong group will be based in Charlotte and will concentrate principally on the US financial services market, for which it will provide consultancy, services and support.
