McLean, Virginia-based RSIS will provide desktop, server, and applications management services to Darpa over the next five years. RSIS said the deal expands the relationship that the two companies have had for the last five years, which has seen RSIS dedicate an 85-strong team to the contract.
RSIS is privately owned and made revenue of more than $360m in full-year 2005. The company ranks as the 36th largest federal IT contractor in the US and has other contracts with the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Federal Aviation Administration, and the Transportation Security Administration.
