RSA, a multinational quoted insurance group, has extended its business process outsourcing (BPO) services contract with Accenture for four additional years.

Under the extended agreement, Accenture will continue to provide front – and back-office operations including: portions of sales and service, claims, finance and commercial administration functions that support RSA’s direct, affinity and broker customers.

In addition, Accenture will provide development, implementation and ongoing maintenance services for RSA UK’s IT applications, including customer relationship management; commercial lines products; and back-office operations in the UK and Ireland.

Accenture will deliver the services through its Global Delivery Network using centers in Bangalore and Mumbai, India.

RSA UK operations director David Pitt said they extended their relationship because Accenture offered them flexibility, enabling them to refine services in an efficient and timely manner to reflect the changing needs of their customers.
