ROSS WARNS THAT IT MAY NEED CASH TO CONTINUE OPERATIONS

Sparc chip designer and workstation builder Ross Technology Inc warns that it requires an immediate infusion of cash in order to meet its current obligations and continue operations, as a result of its operating losses, inventory writedown and account receivable reserves. Fujitsu Ltd will respond to the plea by the end of the month.
