Rosneft, currently in the process of reconstructing its refining facilities, is looking to SmartPlant to manage its engineering data and integrate this information with other enterprise business and operational systems. Rosneft said that is expects SmartPlant to integrate numerous existing applications used to create, capture and maintain information and know-how throughout the plant’s life cycle, regardless of changes in the plants and staff.

Many of the world’s leading organizations producing energy have moved to standardize on Intergraph’s SmartPlant Enterprise to meet the challenging and growing global demand for oil, gas and other fuel sources, said Gerhard Sallinger, president, Intergraph’s Process, Power & Marine division.

Rosneft is among a growing number of energy producing organizations to recognize the value and benefits of standardizing and integrating their engineering information system with other enterprise business and operational systems through the use of Smartplant Enterprise.
