The new storage offering features include: up to 4500MB/sec transfer rates in a single 36-bay enclosure; 108TB per enclosure, lower capacity 12- or 24-bay enclosure options; and SAN-ready compatibility with HyperFS, Xsan, StorNext, FibreJet and MetaSAN.

Further, the new offering also provides comprehensive management features including: Zero Impact Drive Rebuild; Real-Time Initiator (RTI); Drive Performance Tracking; and Trace I/O Command Tracking.

Rorke Data vice-president of marketing Joe Rorke said the Galaxy Aurora 36 storage offering makes fast work of video content creation.
