Tidying up its UK operations after it took over the old STC Business Systems-ITT IBM-compatible terminals, communications products and personal computers business, Alcatel NV has merged the business with its Roneo-Alcatel Teletel terminals, duplicators and mailing systems operation and called the whole thing Alcatel Business Systems Ltd. The UK business had sales of $56m in 1986, but should have grown substantially during the past year.
