RollStream has launched a new product for supplier onboarding and information management. The company said that the new offering, Web 2.0 Onboarding and Information Management, enables customers to automate the registration of new suppliers and approval of changes to business terms, contracts and key credentials for existing suppliers or vendors.

Kristin Muhlner, CEO of RollStream, said: “With the latest release of our Onboarding solution, customers can configure and deploy their own solution in weeks. The solution embodies best practices in supplier information and change management, enabling companies to immediately realise the benefits of reduced costs and accelerated time to bring supplier products to market.”

According to the company, the new offering enables users to add suppliers, vendors or distributors to a partner community via online forms. The role-based approval workflow spans the entire process from supplier registration to internal employee handoffs.

The company stated that its supplier information management capability enables suppliers to manage their own profiles and initiate changes to their information themselves, and ensures that such changes are tied to a customer-defined approval process enabling management of supplier master data.

Since its Onboarding product is directly tied to a collaboration platform, users can find existing suppliers using search capabilities before submitting duplicate registration requests. Once the profile is complete, customers can communicate and interact with suppliers based upon type, category or classification.

Also, with its open API Interface for ERP and Content Management, all supplier information, data and credentials can be synchronised with master systems of record.
