As part of the agreement, Tatung has obtained license rights to Roku’s SoundBridge network music players and plans to distribute them in Asia.
Tatung designs and manufactures products that include digital TV’s, home entertainment receivers and personal media players, which have been added to the company’s PC product lines to serve ODM customers worldwide.
The companies hope the partnership will enable them to move forward more aggressively in the consumer electronics market.
