Acquisitive Rocky Mountain Internet Inc has struck again, snapping up another internet access and web-hosting business – this time it’s Overland Park, Kansas-based Unicom Communications Inc for a price of $1.93m to be paid in stock. Unicom, founded in 1995, boasts 3,500 internet subscribers and provides web-hosting and e-commerce services. It saw 1997 revenue of $875,000, up 48% from the prior year.
