Rockwood Holdings Plc is buying computer, photocopier and electronic goods distributor and installer BVS International Ltd for an initial UKP1.25m and up to UKP1m more depending on performance in calendar 1989 and 1990: initial consideration will be in Rockwood loan notes guaranteed by Lloyds Bank Plc; the acquisition is conditional on the structure of the agreement getting tax clearance from the Inland Revenue; BVS did UKP102,000 pre-tax in the year to December 1987, at which time it had net assets of UKP111,300.
