ROCKWELL JEM1 JAVA PROCESSOR UNAFFECTED BY PICOJAVA REVISION

Rockwell Collins Inc says its JEM1 Java processor, which is based on parts of Sun Microsystems Inc’s picoJava 1.0 design core and uses only a couple of Sun’s patented elements, not all of them, is unaffected by the new picoJava 2.0 revision. It says most of the JEM1 is its own design, derived from its Advanced Architecture Microprocessor (AAMP) over the last decade.
