Robbins & Myers’ Moyno division manufactures progressing cavity pumps, grinders and pump systems. RuleStream will initially be used to automate complex engineering processes associated with Moyno’s Engineer-to-Order (ETO) operations. This includes automation of 3D models, complex drawings, performance calculations and Bills of Materials (BoMs), which will allow quotations and orders for non-standard products and systems to be processed faster and with more accuracy.
Upon completion of the Moyno implementation, Robbins & Myers plans to implement RuleStream in other divisions with ETO processes.
Robbin and Myers says they expect the new system to increase bid and win rates, improve margin security through more accurate cost estimation, and enhance customer responsiveness and satisfaction.
