RIVA WINS JAVELIN EUROPEAN DISTRIBUTION DEAL

Javelin Systems Inc, Tustin, California has a letter of intent for the Riva Electronics Ltd arm of Riva Group Plc to distribute about $24m in Javelin products over a three year period. The provider of open-system, touch-screen point-of-sale terminals said Riva will be its exclusive distributor in Western Europe, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.
