Europe's second largest manufacturer of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, the Verona, Italy-based Riello UPS, has bought market share with its acquisition of Advance Electronics Ltd's Galatrek UPS power protection system sales and distribution business for an undisclosed sum.
The new business will trade in the UK as Riello Galatrek Ltd from new premises located in Wrexham, North Wales, and will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Riello UPS srl, which itself is part of the Riello Elettronica electronics groups.
