By CBR Staff Writer

Reuters Holdings Plc has won agreement from the London Stock Exchange to carry Level 2 SEAQ – Stock Exchange Automated Quotations System – share price quotations on the 101 most active Alpha stocks from 31 London market makers, on the Reuter worldwide information network: the agreement, won after considerable pressure, breaks the Stock Exchange monopoly held by its Topic system; the annual charge will be UKP1,260 per terminal, matching Topic rates.
