By CBR Staff Writer

Santa Monica, California-based Retix Inc has started shipping what it claims is the first natively-integrated X.400 NetWare Loadable Module for Novell Inc’s NetWare Global MHS environment. The Retix X.400 for NetWare Global MHS is said to extend the capabilities of NetWare Global MHS by providing NetWare users with access to a wide range of X.400-based services, enabling NetWare users to exchange messages, documents and files with X.400-compliant products and services. According to the company, the product is based on Retix’s X.400 technology, as well as Novell’s X.400 OEM Development Kit. Retix X.400 for NetWare Global MHS lists for $5,000, and will be sold through Retix resellers and some of Novell’s authorised resellers and distributors.
