Spain’s second telecommunications group Retevision say it will set a definitive January launch date sometime next month, according to its chairman Pedro de Torres. We will make the exact date public in December. It will be among the first few days of 1998, de Torres told Reuters. The company will start its service with national and international calls. It plans to offer a full market service in Spain as of August 1998. The company had previously set itself the target of starting operations this year.
