The two divisions will continue to cross-sell brands, but Lincoln believes that the customer needs for supplies are often different to their needs for equipment, necessitating differing strategic approaches. The restructuring is aimed at providing a more specific focus to Lincoln’s businesses.
Steve Deitering, Vice President of Sales for Merco Savory, has been appointed general manager of the new Lincoln Smallwares Division. He has been in charge of Merco Savory sales for 12 years, but will be leaving it behind as the Merco Savory business will be operated as part of the Lincoln Equipment Division.
The Smallwares business will include the Wear-Ever line of professional cookware, food handling products and cutlery as well as the Redco line of manual food preparation machines.
