The company claims that the new Resolver Risk 4.0 governance, risk and compliance (GRC) software enhances the existing Resolver*Risk application. The application will provide high level user interface by means of increased flexibility, personalized configuration, executive level reporting, and charting.

According to the company, Resolver Risk is capable of providing centralized manageability of GRC environment and is expandable to support number of compliance programs, including audit, Sarbanes-Oxley, Bill 198, North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI), IT Governance/process improvement, Legislative Compliance Management (LCM), and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).

Resolver*Risk 4.0 enables all business units to successfully manage risk and controls increasing a company’s productivity and ability to embrace risks while recognizing key opportunities, said, Steve Taylor, president at Resolver.

In September 2006, SAP also released three new additions to its GRC portfolio, SAP GRC Repository, SAP GRC Process Control, and SAP GRC Risk Management. The company claimed that these service-oriented architecture (SOA) based applications are capable of addressing the specific GRC requirements of public sector organizations across industries, including chemicals, financial services, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals and utilities.
