According to the agreement, Unisys said its subsidiary, Insurance Services Limited (UISL), will process and administer an additional 750,000 life and pensions policies for Swiss Life UK, an insurance firm bought by Resolution last December.
The new contract means that UISL will manage a total of 4.2 million policies for the company.
Resolution is founded on the belief that policyholders in closed life funds deserve to be treated as fairly as those in open life funds, said Brendan Meehan, COO of Resolution. Providing service is a key part of this and UISL has already shown its commitment to serving Resolution’s customers.
