Remembered.com, an online memorial website for family and friends to share the lives and memories of loved ones, has unveiled a Facebook application that integrates its online memorial website within the Facebook application framework.
Remembered.com enables users to create an online memorial and send to their friends, family, and co-workers via email or Facebook, where people who are notified can inform others, offer condolences, or make donations to the charity of the departed.
Remembered.com incorporated social networking into coping with the loss of a loved one, enabling those left behind to surround themselves virtually with others who can exchange fond memories, the company said.
An online photo share enables registered users to contribute photos, comments, and condolences with each other from every corner of the world, and also a URL is created to share with others.
The social networking service is free for all family and friends to use to share the life and legacy of their departed loved ones.
Remembered.com lead developer Ivan Vias said Facebook integration enables users to connect with the people from grade school to retirement and create a rich tapestry of a person’s lifetime.
