Patni will use Raleigh, North Carolina-based Relativity’s Modernization Workbench as the primary software solution for addressing enterprise application modernization activities with its Global 2000 clients. It will also integrate the software platform into its network of Centers of Excellence. This will allow Patni’s consultants to accelerate projects and increase the value they provide to their application management and modernization customers, the companies said.
Relativity’s Modernization Workbench provides a centralized repository of detailed and current information on legacy systems. It enables secure sharing via the web of the application metrics, diagrams, and reports contained in the repository. This real-time information permits Patni and its clients to better manage their outsourcing relationships by ensuring effective communication, as well as compliance with service level agreements.
As part of this relationship, Patni has committed to certify its services professionals through the Relativity Technologies Certified Professional program. The companies added that they will cooperate closely on sales, marketing, and training initiatives. The companies said they are already working on joint engagements worldwide.
