RED BRICK WINS RESELLER AGREEMENT WITH HEWLETT PACKARD

Loss making data warehousing company Red Brick Systems Inc is hoping for a much needed boost in revenues and has duly signed up Hewlett Packard Co’s Americas Local Product Organisation as reseller for its whole range of data warehouse products and services. Hewlett Packard intends to resell Red Brick’s products as part of an integrated package across all its hardware platforms. Under terms of the deal HP has rights to sell Red Brick Warehouse, its relational database for data warehousing and OnLine Analytical Processing in addition to its Red Brick Data Mine offering. A spokesperson for Red Brick commented: we’ve only had a direct sales force up to now?otentially this is a very big deal for us.
