Red Bee Media secures broadcast deal from Box TV

Red Bee Media will offer playout, media management and post-production services for all seven of Box TV's music channels.

Red Bee Media has signed a multi-year agreement with Box TV to deliver broadcast services for the network’s music channels.

Under the deal, Red Bee Media will offer playout, media management and post-production services for all seven of Box TV’s music channels.

The music channels include 4Music, The Box, Smash Hits, Kiss, heat, Magic and Kerrang!.

Red Bee Media CEO Patrick Tillieux said: "This new business win really demonstrates our expertise, experience and reputation in delivering best in class, cost-effective and reliable media distribution solutions. We remain committed to investing in technological excellence; innovation lies at the heart of everything we do."

Box TV operations director Scott Monks said: "Box TV will continue to drive interactive content and social media via it’s specialist in house production team with live connectivity to Red Bee Media’s playout facility.

"Red Bee Media with its very credible clients and existing relationship with Channel 4, a 50% owner of Box, was the perfect choice of partner."

Box TV is a joint venture between Channel 4 and Bauer Media.
