RECOGNITION EQUIPMENT NAMED IN A WOULD-BE CLASS ACTION SUIT

Recognition Equipment Inc and two former executives of the company are named in a would-be class action suit on behalf of all buyers of Recognition shares between December 11, 1985 and October 6, 1988, alleging Federal securities law violations, fraud, and negligent misrepresentation in connection with statements on sorting equipment contracts from the Postal Service.
