Reap business benefits with enterprise-wide mobility, says CA technologies

Overall customer satisfaction with mobility efforts remains low.

A new study has found that enhancing customer experience is no longer the key factor for mobility adoption in the UK.

Over half of the organisations in the country are adopting mobility strategies to remain competitive, while just 3% of companies are focusing on improving access to mobile apps and services for their own staff.

UK companies themselves agree that only 16% of customers are completely satisfied with their mobile experience.

The study said 86% of UK businesses implementing mobility initiatives have either already seen, or expect to see, a speed up in time-to-market for delivering new apps and services.

Additionally, 84% of the respondents have seen or anticipate an improvement in customer satisfaction and an enhancement in the customer experience, while 51% expect increased employee retention and productivity.

44% of UK companies are already adopting an enterprise mobility strategy, while a further 46% plan to adopt it in the next two years.

Vanson Bourne conducted the global study, which was sponsored by CA Technologies, polling 1,425 senior IT and business executives on their mobility initiatives.
