Web design firm and new media empire-in-the-making Razorfish Inc is to buy London-based Sunbather for an undisclosed sum. Sunbather was founded in 1995 and has worked on interactive TV trials, web sites, CD-ROMs, books and magazines. When CHBI Razorfish, the firm’s London branch, moves to larger offices in Smithfield at the end of the year, it will drop the CHBI from its name and bring the Sunbather designers along with it. For the last few months New York-based Razorfish has been on an international buying spree, nearly doubling in size by adding Sweden’s Spray Interactive and Los Angeles-based media to the family (CI No 3,470). Don’t relax, little companies: that spree is not over yet. President and CEO Jeff Dachis said in a statement: We are dedicated to finding like cultures as we continue our acquisitive growth.
