Razorfish Inc, the New York-based web design and consulting firm, has announced net income of $0.9m for the third quarter ended September 30 1999, compared with $0.3m for the corresponding period last year. Revenues reached $19.1m compared with $4m for the third quarter of 1998. The combined earnings include the results since September 1, 1999 of Los Angeles-based broadcast design form Fuel Inc and its commercial production firm Tonga Inc, which Razorfish acquired during the quarter. The results for International Integration Inc (i-Cube), which Razorfish acquired on August 10, 1999, are not included. During the quarter, the company opened a Mobile Solutions lab in its Helsinki office, aimed at developing new technologies to exploit the WAP and SMS protocols. á
