Raynet Corp has now won Denver-based US West Communications for a trial of its fibre-to-the-kerb system of introducing fibre optics to the local loop without the expense of taking it into every home: the trail will be in an established residential development in Los Alamos, New Mexico: the LOC-2 passive optical network system is set to offer first services in mid-summer.
