Santa Clara-based RasterOps Corp, which does colour boards for the Apple Computer Inc Macintosh, is diversifying into the IBM PS/2 market with the RasterOps 1024MC, its first 24-bit True Colour board for the PS/2: it can put up 16.7m colours and is claimed to be the first board to deliver photorealistic colour on the PS/2; the Micro Channel board sells for $4,400.
