The voluntary Program helps streamline access control procedures for authorized vendors, suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, and service providers who routinely access the installations. This implementation of the RAPIDGate Program joins thirteen implementations currently in operation at Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security facilities from Washington, D.C. to California.

Robert Marsh, anti-terrorism officer at USAG, Hawaii (USAG-HI), said: The RAPIDGate Program is an important component of our strategy to keep all personnel on our installations safer and more secure. The RAPIDGate Program gives our access control personnel greater control over our gate procedures, and it streamlines access for our valued business partners. It’s a win-win option.
