Ramtek Corp has added two new graphic display product families to its line, the 432X and 466X. The Ramtek 4327 is a high performance two dimensional colour graphic display for process control, finite element analysis, CAD/CAM and command and control applications. It has graphic resolution of 1,280 by 1,024 pixels and supports up to 256 on-screen colours from a palette of 16.7m. It can be configured with Ramtek’s proprietary Transform and Draw Accelerator based upon DataFlow architecture for up to 20 MIPS computation speed. The Ramtek 4660 is a high performance graphic/imaging display generator for meteorological, geophysical analysis, simulation, remote sensing, medical and process control applications. It provides high-speed display generation through use of a fast Raster Bus and fast refresh memory access and can be configured with up to 36 1,280 by 1,024 refresh memory planes. It features film looping capability, independent pan and zoom of refresh memories, and windowing hardware assist. The Ramtek 4327 and 4660 are modular and can be expanded with optional hardware units. No price or delivery given.
