RAGE PARTNERS MICROSOFT FOR FOOTBALL GAME

By CBR Staff Writer

Liverpool, UK-based games software company Rage Software Plc has completed a deal with Microsoft Corp initiated last month (CI No 3,583), for the global publication of its soccer game ‘Striker’. The distribution date has been deferred to September 1999. Peter Desmier, Rage’s finance director, explains that the game is not fully written, but expects it to compete strongly, particularly in terms of graphics, with GremlinÆs Actua or Electronic Arts’ Fifa edition.
