Radwin launches new microwave PDH System

Offers combination of TDM and ethernet

By CBR Staff Writer

Radwin, a provider of backhaul and broadband wireless services, has released Radwin 2000 PDH, a Sub 6-GHz microwave PDH system offering up to 16 x E1s/T1s+ ethernet.

Radwin claims that the new release is designed to meet carriers’ cellular backhaul needs, delivering high-end performance, capacity and range. It incorporates technologies such as MIMO, OFDM and diversity together with proprietary protocols to ensure resiliency in sub-6GHz bands.

According to Radwin, the new PDH system provides a combination of TDM and ethernet and comes with 1+1 monitored hot standby support and built-in spectrum view for locating the cleanest channel for operation. It operates in the urban and rural environments, including non-line-of-site scenarios, interference-ridden environments, tough terrains and extreme temperatures.

Adi Nativ, vice president of marketing and business development at Radwin, said: Radwin 2000 PDH was designed with carriers’ needs in mind, allowing them to unlock the capacity bottleneck and extend their network reach at the lowest total cost of ownership. Radwin 2000 PDH is the natural choice for carriers, delivering unparalleled performance at a price that is more competitive than any other solution on the market today.
