Radvision has unveiled SCOPIA XT1000 high definition video conferencing room system that offers two full HD (1080p 30fps) video streams as standard and features high end PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) camera with 10x optical zoom.

The company said the SCOPIA XT1000 has embedded HD multi-party conferencing and supports high resolution PC data sharing at 30fps. It uses beam forming technology in the 3-way microphone and provides 48kHz (full band) audio encoding. The second 1080p video stream can be used with an additional 1080p camera for complete visual coverage or with a PC for data sharing.

Available options include four and nine participant integrated MCUs, 12Mbps extended data rate and additional cameras and microphone pods, Radvision said.

Boaz Raviv, chief executive officer of Radvision, said: “The addition of the SCOPIA XT1000 marks RADVISION’s entrance into the room system market and the company’s ability to deliver a complete, end-to-end enterprise conferencing solution. The SCOPIA XT1000 is based on years of development by Aethra and leverages the best of both companies’ technology, intellectual property and expertise.

“It incorporates the latest state-of-the-art video technology with features and capabilities mandatory for today’s room system deployments. The SCOPIA XT1000 delivers the perfect blend of value and a high quality, high-end experience, making it stand out amongst the competition.”
