Radius Inc, the Sunnyvale, California company which over-reached itself when it acquired Supermac Technologies and then signed to clone the Mac, reckons it is now back on an even keel. It says it has completed its one-year plan to focus its business and strengthen its financial position, last month completing the final step in its restructuring, issuing nearly $50m in new equity and reducing debt by a similar amount. It says its primary mission is to develop unique technologies and products designed to enhance the creative process and increase productivity of creative professionals, and it has been focusing on its core products in graphics, color-accurate displays and digital video. It still holds minority stakes in Splash Technologies Inc, Umax Computer Corp and Portrait Display Labs Inc and says it has has shown profits for the past two quarters.
