RadiSys, a provider of hardware and software platforms for IP-based wireless, wireline and video networks, has reported net revenues of $75.2m for the third quarter of 2010, an increase of 7% compared to $70.4m for the same period last year.
The company posted an operating income of $1.75m for the third quarter of fiscal 2010, compared to an operating loss of $1.1m for the same period last year.
For the quarter ended 30 September 2010, the company reported a net income of $2.2m, compared to a net loss of $0.83m for the same period a year ago.
Diluted earnings per share was $0.09, compared to a loss on EPS by $0.04 for the corresponding period last year.
Geographically, North America net revenue was $25m, which accounted for 33% of the total revenue, an increase of three percentage points from a year ago quarter.
Europe region accounted for 28% of net revenue with $21m, while Asia Pacific region accounted for 39% with $29m net revenue.
RadiSys president and CEO Scott Grout said in the quarter, the company announced their new LTE Security Gateway product targeted at providing carrier-grade security offerings for new all-IP wireless networks.
"The LTE SEG is built upon their ATCA platform and provides five times the performance of existing enterprise-focused offerings," Grout said.
For fourth quarter 2010, the company expects revenue to be between $68m and $72m.
