By CBR Staff Writer

Rackspace Hosting, a provider of hosting services, has launched Rackspace Email 7.0, a release of its business-class email hosting service.

Rackspace Email 7.0 includes updates to its webmail app, such as right-click functionality, multiple personal calendars, iCal calendar feeds and improved foreign language handling.

Rackspace Email 7.0 offers customers real POP and IMAP email access from any email or mobile app; full synchronisation with Microsoft Outlook, Blackberry, iPhone, and Windows Mobile; multi-layer, integrated anti-spam and anti-virus protection; and 10GB of storage per user.

The company has released this product at a time when Rackspace Email was able to see significant traction in the market, adding email hosting for about 350 new businesses domains a day.

Pat Matthews, general manager of Rackspace Email & Apps, said: “The release of Rackspace Email 7.0 is a significant milestone. Rackspace Email together with our Microsoft Exchange services, provides our customers with the most comprehensive email hosting service on the market, at a price that delivers massive cost-savings to businesses of all sizes.”
