Rackspace Hosting launches Hosted Exchange service

Rackspace Hosting, a hosting services provider, has launched its new Hosted Exchange service to meet the growing demand from businesses looking to outsource their email service.

By CBR Staff Writer

The new service is based on Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, and is backed by Rackspace’s Fanatical Support customer service.

Rackspace Managed Mail provides a turn-key, business class email service with the benefits of a shared infrastructure and a support team of experts. It also offers anywhere access including seamless integration with wireless devices and collaboration through shared calendars, contacts and tasks, and a pay-per-mailbox pricing structure.

Jacques Greyling, operations director at Rackspace, said: At Rackspace we provide a high level of technical service and support to meet the needs of businesses enabling them to concentrate on their core activities. We apply our expertise in support and infrastructure so customers get all of the features and benefits they require without any of the day-to-day headaches of having to manage their own service.
