RACAL FLOTATION IS GOING TO PLAN

Dog was positively wolfing dog yesterday as the Evening Standard rushed to rubbish a – front-page – suggestion in the Financial Times that Racal Electronics Plc might have to postpone its proposed flotation of Racal Telecommunications Group Plc if the market does not perk up a bit between now and October: the FT attributed the statement anonymously to one of the company’s financial advisors, which had Racal telling the Standard We intend to find out which of our financial advisors was responsible for giving this incorrect impression; Racal says that the flotation is going to plan, and that a prospectus will be out in mid-October.
