Clarifying the relationship between Racal Electronics and Scicon with regard to the Government Data Network contract (CI No 933) there isn’t one any longer, and Racal is the sole beneficiary of the contract, which it reckons could be worth over UKP1,000m over the next 10 years: Racal and Scicon quietly dissolved their joint venture in December, and Racal-Scicon is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Racal.
